No services will be held, per his wishes.Bob was born Feb. 10, 1935, in Mason City, Iowa, the son of O. They had two sons, Kevin and Jeffery.After retirement Bob and Gloria first moved to Cherokee Village, Ark., and then to Hot Springs Village, Ark., and most recently to a winter home in Sunrise, Fla.Bob enjoyed going out to lunch with Gloria, almost daily, traveling with family, going to casinos, fishing and camping on Lake Kabetogama, hunting in Montana, attending the Drake Relays and, after retirement, playing golf.Those grateful for sharing his life are his wife, Gloria Austin, Sunrise, Fla.; sons, Kevin (Laurel Krahn) Austin, of Minneapolis, and Jeffery Austin, of Florida; a sister, Norma Jean Swenson, Van Horne, Iowa; brothers, Randy (Patty) Austin, Manly, Iowa, and John Austin, Mason City; a sister, Cindy Wurtzel, Mason City; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.Bob was preceded in death by his parents, O. Glen and Delma Austin, brother and sister in law, Bill and Elaine Austin, mother in law, Bea Poole, father in law, James Shinn, and brothers in law, Jim Shinn and Dean Swenson.Keep it clean.
